May I have some drama-mine for my emotion sickness?

Name(or username):
Your Weaknesses:
Physicalities of reality, inability to appreciate almost anything about me, trusting others concerning their views of me, all the pitfalls of being a Scorpio and women.
Your Strengths:
I'm loyal and can occasionally string words together to form stories.
Your Talents:
Fitting songs to scenes & vice verse, seeing through the facade to see who/how someone really is (as long as I'm not wanting to date them) and my greatest talent is coming up with plots and ideas.
Stamp Gender Preference:
Um, male, please?

Favorite Color(s)
Black, maroon, silver/grey.
What is your favorite genre of film or theater?
Dramadies. Laughter with heart. I saw "Juno" this week and have declared it the best movie for the totality of 2008.

Which character (no matter how obscure) would you like to be your best friend? Why?
Spinelli is the obvious answer. He's one of the most loyal people on the show not to mention nice and caring. He accepts others as whole people, accepting their flaws and standing up for them for longer than they may actually deserve. And if not Spinelli, then Coleman. His shirts are just so cool who wouldn't want to be his friend?
Which character would you like to be involved with romantically? Why?
Georgie if she were still alive. She was the most real of the women on the show, she was sweet and nice and cute and normal. She's the only woman on GH who I can recall ever having seen wear the same outfit more than once... like real people! With her gone though... I'd go for Nadine. So far she's seemed quite nice and enjoyable and hasn't shown any really dark edges yet. Far less baggage than almost anyone else.
Would you live in Port Charles if you got the chance?
Can I live on the outskirts and commute? I wouldn't mind living there, at least there I'd be part of the drama instead of it being all around me but outside of my reach to affect.

Definitly Spinelli

I must say, I'm absurdly pleased by that. :) He is the coolest soap character on tv right now and one of the Top 10 ever, maybe Top 5.

I'm kind of torn. I thought maybe the Lucky of the Jonathan Jackson-Boxcar days when he was awesome. If Dillon were an option it would be him. Since Lucky of today doesn't match you I'll go with Spinelli. :)

Phew, thank you. Nothing against sleeping with Maxie for pills, but I prefer getting my pretties legally. Plus, there's that whole Liz thing that just is so... ew...

Wouldn't mind having been Dillon either. And not just for the Dillon/Georgie bit. That's only most of it, the rest is his general coolness. ;) But I am proud to be a Spinelli.

Hm, I wonder if where Spinelli has lots of women who adore him online in our world, if I have lots of women who adore me online in his world. Must get trans-dimensional transportation device working!

haha whoa alternate universe!!! bends and boggles the mind.

seriously though, spinelli does have a lot of the ladies swooning over him...(me included) and it makes me wonder why TPTB dont bank on that. im a businesswoman when it comes to film and i totally understand doing things that make money (cuz as it turns out doing what your fans want usually is the BETTER thing to do artistically anyways!!) if GH's ratins suffer so, pimp out you greatest weapon. seriously....i just dont get the lack of a spinelli love interest

According to Sliders, somewhere in the multiverse Spinelli and I exist in the same dimension and are running the world. This thought comforts me. ;)

I think part of the lack of respect for Spinelli's appeal has to do with the "traditional hunks" on soaps. For years the soaps had a couple of cookie cutters that they used to make the hunks for a show and would bank on them. The funny but hunky-hot guy, the badboy turned good hunky-hot guy, etc etc. Spinelli is amazingly cool and funny, but just can't be classified, really, as a "hunk" by any of the conventional standards.

TPTB are too set in their old ways and just don't realize how close soap operas are to becoming a dying medium because they limit themselves to what worked in the past, and only changing/copying things if it worked for someone else. They're now afraid of innovation. They just can't figure out how people could like a quirky Spinelli as much, or more, than a classic style hunk like Logan or Johnny, the guys who people want to see shirtless.

... I lost where I was going. Oh, to sum up. TPTB are poopyheads. That's what I was trying to say.
